fenris: hawke is a terrible person. they are an unapologetic arsonist, a thief, a murderer, and a mage whose middle name is impulsive. they stress me out so fucking much. the fact that they can kill thirty men in thirty seconds and then crack wise about it whilst absolutely covered in their blood is sociopathic. if you see this individual in a dark alley run for your life.

every time I play All That Remains I remember that the first time, when Leandra stumbles towards Hawke, I assumed we were going to have to fight her as a zombie abomination rather than having a last goodbye
and knowing Varric’s tendencies as a narrator a part of me still thinks thats what really happened and he cleaned it up in his retelling because he’s decided Cassandra doesn’t get to hear about that much of Hawke’s pain
